We will assemble at Monastery Beach, just south of Bay School address: 27600 Highway 1 – across from the Carmelite Monastery, at 10:00 AM. After an introduction to the history of the coast from Point Lobos southward, we will carpool and drive south, making several stops before arriving in the early afternoon at the entrance to the Point Sur Lighthouse. We will have a picnic lunch stop, so participants should bring their lunch.
This is the stunning view of the coast looking northward from the light station.
